Al Ain Zoo Celebrates Kuwait National Day

Al Ain Zoo is organizing celebratory events for the Kuwaiti National Day as part of the United Arab Emirates' celebration of this precious occasion, which will last for a week starting from the 29th of this month until February 4th under the slogan "The UAE and Kuwait: Brothers Forever." These celebrations come as a culmination of the historical fraternal relations between the two sisterly countries, embodying the UAE's leadership's keenness to continue strengthening these relations. The zoo's events include a folkloric performance of the renowned Kuwaiti art of "Al Ardah," which visitors can enjoy watching directly at the main garden entrance daily. It is a traditional folk art performed by men as an expression of courage, pride, and national unity, accompanied by the rhythm of drums and swords while chanting enthusiastic poems. At the ticket booths, visitors are greeted with a set of gifts that include surprise bags, flags of the two sisterly countries, decorative clips, and congratulation cards bearing celebratory phrases and messages. Visitors also enjoy their favorite experiences, which include exploring the animal and plant diversity that houses about 4,000 animals, visiting exhibitions, attending enrichment and feeding programs, tours of the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre, and Al Ain Safari adventures.
